Established in 2025 to serve the Veterans in Lake County, MN. Our purpose is to:
• Recognize and Honor Veterans in Lake County, MN: Acknowledge the service and sacrifices of military veterans from Lake County by organizing events, ceremonies, and recognition programs to celebrate their contributions.
• Build Partnerships with Organizations: Develop alliances with local, state and national organizations to expand resources for Lake County veterans and their families in Lake County.
• Offer Volunteer Opportunities: Provide community members with opportunities to volunteer and assist veterans through direct support, events and services designed to enrich the lives of veterans and their families in Lake County.
• Provide Social, Wellness and Educational Opportunities for Veterans: Create and promote events, programs and services that support the social, emotional and educational needs of veterans in Lake County.
• Facilitate Connections to Accredited Resources: Provide veterans and their families with information and referrals to reputable sources of assistance for navigating available benefits and support systems.
• Provide Career Transition and Employment Assistance: Assist Lake County veterans with job-placement services, facilitate resume workshops, and vocational training referrals.
• Offer Community Education Opportunities: Educate the public and schools about veterans’ contributions and challenges through outreach, publications, and media programs.
• Raise and administer funds: Solicit, receive, and administer contributions, bequests, and grants to further the purpose of this corporation.
• Provide Direct Financial Assistance: Provide emergency or structured grants, scholarships, loans, or stipends to Lake County veterans and their dependents facing hardship.
• Hold and manage property: To acquire, hold, encumber, or dispose of real and personal property in furtherance of this corporation.
